I found this photo on pinterest. John Muir is one person I really respect in history. Not only is he thought of as the Father of our national parks, I feel I can relate to him. He continually links nature and God. I think that God speaks to people through nature in a very powerful, moving way. There is nothing that will make you feel more empowered than spending a weekend in the mountains or in the boundary waters. It recharges you in a way nothing else but God and his creation can.
